Dr. Rob League graduated cum laude from Ohio University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. He received his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, Missouri in 2002 and 2003.
As a chiropractor, Dr. Rob uses both traditional manual adjusting and gentle adjusting to restore structural alignment to the spine and the rest of the body. Dr. Rob feels it is important to use both techniques as each patient is unique. Dr. Rob will listen to what your needs are and honor your wishes and desires in terms of the treatment rendered.
Dr. Rob has a special interest in treating the entire body holistically using chiropractic, muscle testing, nutrition, and other alternative methods as an option to conventional drugs or surgery. He has received extensive training in over 500 hours of Applied Kinesiology and 700 hours in nutrition in addition to his formal training. He completed a course in Biomechanics, Imaging and Caring for the High School athlete in September 2015, and inn 2016, he received certification as a Decompression Therapy Practitioner from Kennedy Decompression Technique. Dr. Rob continues to broaden his spectrum of knowledge and ability to treat difficult cases of pain and neurological dysfunction.
Dr. Rob feels that it is important to be aware of the many types of treatment that are available to his patients. "Otherwise", he says, "If the only tool you own is a hammer, everything will look suspiciously like a nail." Along with the chiropractic adjustment, Dr. Rob incorporates Myofascial Release, Cranial Release Therapy, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement, Applied Kinesiology, Clinical Nutrition, Custom Orthotics, Pregnancy Care, and Pediatric care to his tool bag.
In his spare time, Dr. Rob enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys being physically active: running, hiking, biking, skiing, and doing the "Insanity" video workouts. He has completed four marathons and many half marathons.
Dr. League moved to Keene, New Hampshire, in 2004 and has owned his own practice since 2006. He looks forward to many more years in the Keene area serving the residents and helping them reach their highest health potential.
